BRINGING SELF-COMPASSION TO THE ONES WHO NEED IT THE MOST

DO ANY OF THESE SOUND LIKE YOU?

THE PERFECTIONIST

Holding it together on the outside and falling apart on the inside?  Know your potential but held back by self-sabotage and limiting beliefs?  Your inner critic causing you to have fear and self-doubt?  Want to control everything?  Perfectionism often underlies eating disorders, overeating, negative body image and procrastination.

Stressed Woman

THE SUPER-PARENT

Beating yourself up trying to be supermom or superdad?  Feeling stretched thin and busy taking care of everyone else but yourself?  Pressures and expectations for parents seem to get higher and higher.  While trying hard to be the best parent to your child, it is easy to forget your own needs.

Flying Birds

THE OVERACHIEVER

Does "good enough" never feel like it's good enough? Trying to go above expectations but feel anxious about your career or school? Feel like a failure or want to give up?  Having emotions or thoughts that don't serve you can lead to depression, unnecessary stress and feeling like you're swimming upstream.

If this resonates with you, you're likely a hardworking, caring, driven and capable person who is running on a motor that can't stop.  Being a perfectionist, super-parent, or overachiever is not sustainable.  Over time, it leads to burnout, sickness or an unhealthy lifestyle. The good news is, it doesn't have to be this way.  You can get out of this negative cycle if you are open to new possibilities.

Being a mom and having worked in fast-paced, competitive environments, I too have experienced the toll that high pressure, unrealistic expectations, and feeling overworked has taken on my mental and physical health.  So have many of my clients.  After researching, developing and applying effective, science-based skills that have helped many of my clients and myself, I now work smarter, not necessarily harder, stress less and have more time for what really matters to me.

It's not selfish.  It's about showing up as the healthiest and happiest version of you so you can contribute from a place of love and joy. Let's get started on the journey to help you grow from surviving to thriving.
